chocolate catapult 4The other day I took my two younger boys to a fun little breakfast thing at an Acai bowl cafe. There was a display on the table of coconut shells with almonds and chocolate in them. Jackson was turned off by most of the offerings, but gravitated towards the chocolate as usual. Even though it was a display, he charmed his way into getting the okay to have some of it.

Then he asked for a spoon, which one of the ladies happily gave to him.

I thought he was using the spoon to eat the chocolate chips. Then I noticed that he was doing something else.

I was trying to talk to some other adults (because I don’t get to do that often) but I was curious what he was doing. I looked over just in time to see…

His very own chocolate catapult. He actually got a few of them to land inside the coconut. He was pretty proud of that.

But seriously, does everything have to be turned into a weapon?
