Its a bird…it’s a plane…it’s Super Peep!
Aren’t these Superhero Peeps just the cutest? You can make them at home for a fun Easter activity, or a fun and affordable Easter basket treat.
What you need:
• Peeps Bunnies
• Bamboo Skewers
• 1/8 Hole Punch
• Fruit Roll-ups or red cardstock
• Free Super Peep Printable Download
• Sharp Scissors
I didn’t take step-by-step pictures while making these, but it’s pretty self-explanatory.
Step one: Print out the printable, cut the circles out and punch a hole at the top and bottom.
Step two: Slide circle onto your skewer.
Step three: Stick your bunny onto the dowel above your little circle.
Step four: Cut out cape from fruit roll-up or cardstock and attach!
The cape is the trickiest part. A lot of trial-and-error and fruit roll-up eating was involved. I finally was able to carefully cut out my capes and wrap them around the bunny. It’s kind of a trapezoid with a “strap” on the top of each side. The fruit roll-up sticks to itself, so no need to worry about it coming off. If you decide to use paper it might be a little harder to attach the cape.
