It can be hard to dress a boy cute for Valentine’s Day, and there isn’t always a great selection of screen t’s with “cool” graphics. I also don’t really like having to buy a shirt that is only going to be worn once. So, when I was thinking of what to dress my little guy in for Valentine’s Day, I thought it would be fun to sew some rockin’ hearts onto the knees of his skinny pants. Check out how you can create a rockin’ Valentine outfit your your little guy.
I cut out two felt hearts and two lighting bolts out of craft felt. Then I hand-stitched the lightning bolt onto each heart with some gold thread. Then I hand stitched each heart onto the knees of my son’s pants. Super easy, and I just LOVE how they turned out.
The great thing about this, is that I can easily remove the hearts from his pants after Valentine’s Day.
Then I rummaged through his closet and found a shirt that had some red in it, and a long sleeve shirt that matched to go with the Rockin’ Valentine Heart Patch Pants I made. And the red shoes decked out with gold Shwings completed his look. Whala…a rockin’ boy outfit perfect for Valentine’s Day!
