I love that we have Earth Day each year. It is always nice to be reminded of the beautiful Earth on which we live, and that we must try our best to respect it. Whether it be to plant a tree or recycle our trash, it is important to teach our kids the importance of keeping our environment healthy. Here are 5 of our favorite Earth Day finds that we know boys would love.

Earth Day Finds for Boys

This Recycling Truck by Green Toys is made of 100% recycled materials. It is the perfect size for littles to push around the house or take to the playground. I know my little guy especially loves trash trucks, to he would love to play with this truck.

I’m pretty sure most boys would think this Venus Fly Trap Kit by Chasing Fireflies is WAY cool. Really, a plant that actually eats flies….YIKES!

You can easily make these Homemade Earth Crayons by Sandy Toes and Popsicles with all those broken crayons in your pencil box. It is amazing how broken crayons can be turned into fun Earth crayons as beautiful as these. They also make great gifts, and are a fun Earth Day craft.

Another fun Earth Day craft would be making these Play Dough Earths by Meet the Dubiens. The planets and their specifics are always a fun thing for my boys to learn about. Turn Earth Day into a science lesson.

And lastly, this fun Respect Your Mother t-shirt by Peek has two messages for your boys. Ha!  The message on the back will not only remind your kiddos to treat Mother Earth right…but their mom as well. And the front of it sports a beautiful graphic of the Earth, and can be worn not only during Earth Week, but all year long.
